Together their fragrances pay homage to an ancient forest nestled in the heart of the Japanese countryside, where legend has it a friendly spirit dwells. Though he can only be seen by the very young, at night the huge magical spirit is said to awaken from the heart of a camphor tree.

Did you know?Although this candle is inspired by the famous friendly spirit troll (or Torōru) from the classic 1988 animated film, forest spirits play a significant role in Japanese folklore and are sometimes called ‘Kodama’. Kodama are also said to inhabit trees.
